Wilderness Trace Community Foundation grants $116,231

Charitable funds created by area residents and organizations in the Wilderness Trace Community Foundation (WTCF) provided 98 grants totaling $116,231 through June 30th.

“We are fortunate to have donors who serve a wide range of interests, both local and national,” said WTCF Chairman Julian Gander. “Bolstering our grant making, now, is the Richard Brown endowment that in its second year provided $3,000 to non-profit agencies in our four-county service area. This unrestricted gift allows our volunteer board of directors to identify community needs, as was the wish of Dr. Brown when he created his fund, one that will provide gifts to our communities forever.” We welcome the opportunity to speak with people who wish to see their money work forever to support what they believe in, to change lives and make our communities better places,” said Gander.
